THE GAME PLAN

Magnus and Kalle are childhood friends who share a love of good food and a curiosity about what makes a great burger.

At some point, talking about it wasn’t enough. They decided to leave what they had going, team up and take a chance on building something of their own around the food they genuinely cared about.

CPH Smash started in a small food trailer in Sluseholmen. The game plan was simple: good ingredients, proper craftsmanship and attention to every detail. It didn’t take long before people started coming back.

The next move was a larger food truck, giving the team room to serve more people without changing what made CPH Smash work in the first place.

Today, CPH Smash has its own restaurant in Copenhagen’s Meatpacking District. The setup is bigger, but the approach is still the same: stay focused on the craft, keep improving and build a place people want to return to.
